Honoring my Father,
 America & all the Heroes
 we encounter in our lives.

The Indians called the men in the US Calvary "Pony Soldiers." They believed the men in uniform drew their power in battle from the ever-present US flag.

This horse design was originally designed in honor my father who passed away in October of 2000. Everytime I use this design I think of my father and his pride in being an American. He was a veteran, a business man, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, My dad passed on his wisdom to all that came in contact with him. Although I never used the word “hero” verbally to describe my feeling for my dad, that is what he represented to me.
